I'm Lonely here!:)

Clover and Blake have been in Price this week visiting her family and I am ready for them to come home. It gets kind of lonely here in Cedar by myself. They make things exciting around here. Clover forgot the camera but she sent these pictures to me from her phone. Maybe when he comes home he will want to get in the big pool.
This is the only pool we can get Blake to want to get in. He sure is having fun with his cousin Kodi
Here are the little swimmers again. Look at the cheesers on both of these picks.

Blake's First Kite Flying Adventure

Here's a family photo. We had one with him picking his nose and one without. We chose the nose picker.

Spider-man, spider-man does whatever a spider can.
Our kite went down a couple of times. Here is Blake trekkin after it.
Blake didn't want to hold it at first but loved it after a while. He was a natural kite flyer.

Happy 4th of July

Because we are poor college students with a gas guzzeling SUV we stayed in Cedar City for the 4th of July weekend. I had a long 3-day weekend from work so we were able to experience Cedar City's festvities for once. We went to the parade on friday morning and We are going to have to say that we were alittle disappointed. There was only one float and it was decent to say the least. The night before I joked to Clover that we should just sleep in and skip the parade because it was going to be lame. By the end of the parade Clover was calling it lame too. To show you just how lame it was let me share a picture of one of the floats/entries of the parade.

Is that a FORD FOCUS? Is this really the kind of car you put in a parade? Needless to say there were some good moments from the parade and Blake had a good time and that's all that matters right? Here are some more pics of the parade. We watched the fireworks show but forgot to take the camera so we can't share any pics of the show but it was a great ending to a fun day. We hope everyone had a great 4th.

This was Blakes least favorite part of the Cedar City Parade. He hated the loud firetruck sirens and horns, luckily he enjoyed most of the rest of it.
I thought this was a pretty cool float, look at the detail on that thing!:)
Blake got a frisbee from Smokey the Bear.
This was a bedpan dance group from the hospital.
Blake had a much better view of the parade from on top of my shoulders, but getting candy was alittle tricky.

It was so stink'n hot at the park today, Blake says "Mom it's hot, hurt your hands"?

We are so lucky to have such a sweet lil' man. He is looking back to make sure I wasn't getting lost.

Blake and I had a fun day at the park, to bad dad has to work. I wonder what is going through Blake's head? Maybe "do I pee my pants now or later"!!

I realized that some may want to see what the new hair do looks like from the front. And since this is the only half decent photo of me, here ya go!!!

About Us

My photo
Clover, Blake and I continue to reside in Cedar City, Utah while pursueing an education and working. I just finished my second year at Southern Utah University. I thought I had decided on a career in Human Resourses but the company I work for got rid of all their HR and I have heard that other companies are doing the same thing, so I am still trying to decide but I am leaning towards something in business. Clover continues to do the painstaking job of raising a three year old. It appears that he has hit the terrible twos a year late. We still believe that he is the cutest kid ever. We are happy with life and continue to try and draw closer to our Heavenly Father in these trying times. We want to let everyone out there know that we think about them and hope that everyone is doing great.
