Happy 4th of July

Because we are poor college students with a gas guzzeling SUV we stayed in Cedar City for the 4th of July weekend. I had a long 3-day weekend from work so we were able to experience Cedar City's festvities for once. We went to the parade on friday morning and We are going to have to say that we were alittle disappointed. There was only one float and it was decent to say the least. The night before I joked to Clover that we should just sleep in and skip the parade because it was going to be lame. By the end of the parade Clover was calling it lame too. To show you just how lame it was let me share a picture of one of the floats/entries of the parade.

Is that a FORD FOCUS? Is this really the kind of car you put in a parade? Needless to say there were some good moments from the parade and Blake had a good time and that's all that matters right? Here are some more pics of the parade. We watched the fireworks show but forgot to take the camera so we can't share any pics of the show but it was a great ending to a fun day. We hope everyone had a great 4th.

Ultra lame! At least in the EC parade there was an occasional Corvette. A Ford Focus? Not really parade material.

About Us

My photo
Clover, Blake and I continue to reside in Cedar City, Utah while pursueing an education and working. I just finished my second year at Southern Utah University. I thought I had decided on a career in Human Resourses but the company I work for got rid of all their HR and I have heard that other companies are doing the same thing, so I am still trying to decide but I am leaning towards something in business. Clover continues to do the painstaking job of raising a three year old. It appears that he has hit the terrible twos a year late. We still believe that he is the cutest kid ever. We are happy with life and continue to try and draw closer to our Heavenly Father in these trying times. We want to let everyone out there know that we think about them and hope that everyone is doing great.
